Allied AA Gun (4)

The AA Gun features a quad-23mm gun setup, firing high-explosive incendiary rounds that will quickly tear apart any aircraft that enter its range. The high-speed projectiles are virtually impossible to dodge, and will shred any Chinook that gets near enough. A Hind will last a scant while longer before falling to pieces. AA Guns are available to commanders in need of an anti-aircraft solution, and are seldom seen in areas not thratened by Soviet aircraft. While the AA Gun will not actually track ground forces, its autocannon blasts will damage any ground unit foolish enough to get between the gun and its target aircraft; anecdotal evidence indicates that the system is quite effective against even Volkov.

Allied AA Gun (3)

The Allied Anti-Aircraft Gun is a stationary flak canon designed to down all Soviet aircraft, both fixed-wing and helicopter. AA Guns have a great tracking system, but it is not optimized for attacking ground-level targets such as infantry and tanks; these will not be tracked nor fired upon by the system. In order to bring in Hind or Chinook helicopters, Soviet ground forces will need to knock out the AA Guns in the area or risk the loss of the expensive air units.

AA Guns offer 360 degree coverage, and 0-to-90 degree vertical coverage thanks to a specially-designed mounting. They are capable of identifying low-flying or even grounded air units, although lower-flying pilots reduce their chances of death from a fall. AA Guns, however, are not heavily armored despite their sturdy design. Even small-arms fire can damage AA Guns, as can Volkov's anti-infantry napalm rounds.

Allied Turret III

The Allied anti-tank Turret is a fixed emplacement designed to destroy Soviet armor from a long range using powerful armor shells that travel at an impressive velocity. Intended primarily for base defense operations or guarding an important path or coastline, the Turret is capable of quickly reducing a Soviet vehicle to scrap. Infantry that can utilize natural cover fare much better, although Turret operators recognize the attempts to dodge the incoming firepower and will re-target to catch enemy troops with the splash damage rather than the actual impact.
