It always surprises me how a single idea of a map or a mod turns into a full retail game very quick as soon as Game Devs realize the potential. Battlefield 2 Update 1.5 Beta 3 Today !!!

Although officially announced by the developers, an 1.50 update for BF 2 never came in the winter 2008 as promised . Instead, in late spring 2009 suddenly a 1.50 beta 1 and 2 weeks later a beta 2 appeared out of nowhere, marking an end to the long wait for the update only to be halted again for months.
