NHB 0.2, the 0.2 Beta and BF2 1.5

With the release of BF2 1.5 the NHB 0.2 beta and full release are going to be delayed. It's not yet known how long the delay will be, but it shouldn't be too long. On the plus side, for the wait, the newest release of the mod will include all the benefits we can get from the new content added to BF2.

As some of you may have noticed, there is now another release date up, at the moment we are aiming for a Christmas release, with New Years being the absolute final deadline, again, remember that that date might move in either direction!

There are going to be lots of screen shots, pictures and videos (hopefully) going up between now and then. So look out!

The main reason for this post however, is to raise your attention to a big issue! (read full post for more info)

NHB Dev Team Looking for New Members!

The Nothing Held Back Mod Development Team is looking for new members, not that we haven't always been anyway...
We're looking for any modders who want to join us, as long as they're mature and and friendly, which I think is very important, because it's important for a team to get along with each other.
We're especially looking for mappers, modellers, texture artists and skinners, and people who're willing to do music for us.

I hope not, because you're wrong if you do! We were going to release a small patch, but we've changed and improved so much stuff in the bug finding process that it looks like we're going to be releasing a big patch. Since it got big we decided it should get bigger, and will include all sorts of fancy new things for you to play with. We will be releasing version 0.2X as both a patch up from 0.11, and as a full independent version, as I gotta warn you, this patch might get big.

NHB Ver. 0.11 Released

We recently released the very early version, version 0.11 of Battlefield 2: Nothing Held Back. It's still very WIP and many of the features are still in the works, but we're moving along slowly. The team is still looking for anyone willing to offer help, especially modellers and UVWers.

I'm in the process of creating an install exe for the mod, and intent on releasing for the 23rd of December. Install will have multi-lingual support, although the initial release of the mod itself will only have English support. In patches, or the next big release, I do however intend to expand language support of the mod.

We've just posted up our first test build of the mod, and hope to release our first public version in the next couple of weeks, ideally before or during the first week of the English Christmas holidays. In our release you won't yet find our campaign, or any new maps, but you will find nearly all our new teams, and some of the beginnings of our new weapons.
