		<description>Update 2 is a cumulative update for Discovery Freelancer 4.85 (Update 1 was not released on ModDB, and it&#39;s included into this update). All updates that will follow are going to be cumulative as well.

The update introduces a number of significant balance changes, trade routes changes, fixed models and hitboxes, and a revamped mining system. Multiple bugs were fixed, and many infocards were rewritten or corrected.

		<description>Year is 817 After Settlement (A.S.), 16 years after the single&#45;player campaign of Freelancer, and one year after Discovery 4.84 took place. A Sirius&#45;wide war is on the brink of engulfing the sector. While Kusari pushes its onslaught against Bretonia deep into the Leeds system, Bretonia attempts to surround Kusari forces in Tau&#45;31. Liberty attacks Rheinland in Bremen and Hudson, and Rheinland has to pull back to defend its own borders. As if this was not enough, in late 817 the Independent Miners Guild encountered a large number unknown ships in the Orkney system. The ships belonged to a rebel group formed within the long&#45;lost House of Gallia, the existence of which remained unknown for centuries; creation of a path into Gallia adds a new, powerful, player to the scene. Rumors arise that the nation of France was betrayed during the Exodus, making historians and politicians of various Houses search deep into archives to find out what truly happened more than 1000 years ago in Sol.</description>

		<description>Version 4.84 contains more changes than any previous Discovery version. Almost half a hundred original ship models were created for the mod by our community members. Many more faction systems received long&#45;awaited updates, and 5 new systems were introduced. With numerous new weapons for fighters and capital ships, it became much easier to create versatile and balanced setup for any ship you like. More equipment types were introduced, including new scanners, thrusters, and countermeasure droppers. In addition to that, many profitable and dangerous trade routes were added, involving both new and original commodities. Top&#45;level NPCs became more challenging than before. History of Discovery continues: while Kusari onslaught into Bretonia has been stopped, fierce fighting in Tau systems still continues. The Wild are building a Nomad gate in Omega, its destination yet unknown. Rheinland accuses Liberty of illegal experiments with Nomads in the Alaska system.</description>

This modification completely removes storyline from original game. It also allows you to choose your starting location, starting reputation and credits while activation. Changing uniform is possible from original Discovery activation menu. You may choose player uniform while installing Discovery 4.81 mod before Open SP. Install Notes Freelancer Mod Manager v1.31 is needed to activate this modification. First activate Discovery 4.81 mod, then Open SP.
