It is not a short version of "Halloween HL2: The Traveler" but a small mod showing a glimpse of the Halloween HL2 story from a different perspective. It starts in a similar fashion, a young boy on Halloween night Decides to take a detour into an old farmhouse after an evening of Trick-or-Treating. He stumbles upon the Ostium Mortis, an ancient book.
